Scott Janovitz is a Boston-based musician who has been a member of The Great Bandini, The Confidence Men, The Figgs, and Graham Parker's touring band The Latest Clowns.

In 2010, he released an album under the name The Russians, a collective that featured a revolving cast of friends and musical compatriots. That LP, Crashing The Party, received critical acclaim, earned a Boston Music Award, and was cited among the "Best Music of 2010" by the Wall Street Journal.

Since that time, Janovitz has co-composed the score for the Parker Posey film The Love Guide, recording seven original songs for the soundtrack, and he's released an EP and several singles, most recently "Everlasting Health" (November 2016).
